To all who shall see these presents greetings. Know ye that we
Peter and Green Pryor of the County of Williamson and State of
Tennessee for and in consideration of the sum of nine hundred twenty
seven Dollars fifty cents, to us in hand paid by Lidia Hensley
widow of Davis Hensley and George C. Thompson of the
Township of Labrid, county of Saint Louis and Missouri territory, the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and thereof of every part and
parcel thereof we do hereby exhonerate and discharge them the said
Lidia Hensley, John Hensley, William Hensley and George C. Thompson,
their heirs and assigns for ever, have granted, bargained, sold and do
by these presents, grant, bargain and sell unto the said Lidia
Hensley, John Hensley, William Hensley and George C. Thompson, their
heirs or assigns for ever all the right and interest that we have to a
certain tract of land lying, being and situate on the south side of
the Missouri river in the Bonhomme Bottom, Bonhome Township, County
and territory aforesaid which land was confirmed to Davis Hensley,
Dec'd. To have and to hold the said bargained premises to them the
said Lidia Hensley, John Hensley, William Hensley and George C.
Thompson their heirs and assigns for ever. Nevertheless, this Deed
upon this condition, whereas the said Peter and Green Prior have this
day made their certain notes of hand for the judgment of the sum of
four hundred and sixty three Dollars and seventy-five cents, good and
lawful money of the United States by the fifth Day of June one
thousand eighteen hundred and eighteen to Lidia Hensley, John Hensley,
William Hensley and George Thompson on order. Now if the said Peter
and green Prior, their heirs, executors, administrators shall pay or
cause to be paid to the said Lidia Hensley, John Hensley, William
Hensley and George C. Thompson, their heirs, heirs [sic] executors or
assigns the full sum of aforesaid on or before the fifth Day of June
one thousand eighteen hundred and eighteen then this Deed to be void
and other wise if the said Peter and Green Pryor their heirs executors
or administrators shall fail or neglect to pay the said sum of four
hundred and sixty-three Dollars seventy five cents to the above named
Hensley & Thompson, their heirs and assigns or certain attorneys on or
before the said fifth Day of June one thousand eight hundred and
eighteen, then the said Lidia Hensley, Hensley [sic], John Hensley,
William Hensley & George C. Hensley [sic] their heirs, heirs [sic]
assigns or certain attorneys shall and may on the tenth Day of June
expose to sale at the Court House Door in the Town of St. Louis for
ready pay the said bargained premises and the same shall be sold to
the highest bidder and the said Lidia Hensley, John Hensley, William
Hensley, & George C. Thompson their heirs, assigns, or certain
attorneys are hereby authorized and empowered to ? a lawful Deed of
the same, in the name of the said Peter & Green Pryor as fully as the
said Peter & Green Prior can personally Do and the same shall be
binding, and if the same premises shall sell for ? then the sum of
four hundred and sixty three Dollars and seventy five cents then the
over-plus is to be returned to the said Peter & Green Pryor, if for
less then the said sum the said Peter & Green Prior shall alwaist?
liable to pay the balance. The witness we have hereunto set our hands
& seals this the fourth day of June in the year of our Lord, one
thousand eight hundred and sixteen.

Know all men by these presents that we Lydia Hensley, widow to Davis
Hensley, Dec'd. John Hensley and my wife Fanny and William Hensley and
my wife Nancy and George Thompson and my wife Sally of the territory
of Missouri & County of St. Louis for and in consideration of the sum
of nine hundred & twenty seven Dollars & fifty cents to us in hand
paid by Peter & Green Pryor, the receipt whereof we Do acknowledge and
every part & parcel thereof we Do ? discharge them their heirs &
assigns forever have granted, bargained & sold & Do by these presents
grant bargain & sell all our right & title ? & interest that we have
or ever can have in or to one certain tract of land lying & being in ?
Bonhomme Bottom in the County of St. Louis & territory aforesaid which
land was claimed by Davis Hensley, Deceased & by virtue of a
commission granted to him by the Spanish government which we came to
by heirship and Dowr [sic] which land have granted, bargained Y sold
with all its advantages & all its appertainances excepting the above
named Lydia Hensley & she only sells five sevenths of her third which
which [sic] she obtained by Dower to them their heirs & assigns for
ever & Do warrant & Defend the said granted land to them their assigns
for as our heirs & assigns and all other persons right-fully claiming
in by or through us. In Testimoney [sic] whereof we have set our hands
& seals this third Day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred & sixteen.

(Abstract) I David Caldwell & Nancy my wife of the territory of
Missouri & County of St. Louis have . . . sold to Peter & Green Pryor
all our part to our seventh of 500 arpens of real estate of Davis
Hensley, Deceased lying in Bonhomme bottom . . . devolving to us as
being lawful heirs . . . for $192.50.

Francis Hensley, Willis Hensley, David Caldwell and Nancy
Caldwell, late Nancy Hensley wife of said David; George
Thompson and Sally Thompson, late Sally Hensley, wife of
George; Henry Johns and Polly Johns, late Polly Hensley, wife
of the said Henry, take notice that on 9 June next we will apply to
partition of a certain tract of land lying in the county of St. Louis
& township of Bohomme whereof Davis Hensley, the father of above and
also Nelly Hensley, now Nelly Beauchamp, died seized of 500
arpens.
