RICHARD AND MOURNING PRYOR

One can not research the Pryor families of Middle Tennessee without stumbling upon the lineage of Richard and Mourning Pryor.  While the lineage has been published on numerous websites and Internet genealogy forums, I have not been able to locate a genealogy for this line that is documented with source information. 

While doing my own review of the family of Richard and Mourning Pryor (secretly hoping to find a lost link to my own family) I became aware of data that was inconsistent and the lack of confirming source information to prove this line. My opinion is that the Internet histories of Richard and Mourning Pryor are incomplete, and in some places incorrect.  Because I have not been able to obtain the documentation or sources to confirm information, their history is a work in progress.
